Healthy Living Resources is a new telecast presented by the Family and Consumer Sciences program specialists that will focus on health, wellness, and the impact that stress has on our lives. Whether it be financial struggle, or chronic disease management, stress can creep up as a result of many of the day to day events that we face in our lives. Join us monthly as we interview Family and Consumer Sciences educators and other specialists who will discuss how we can address and hopefully prevent this from negatively impacting our overall health and wellness.
In this episode, healthy relationships program specialist Stacey Baker and Hardin County Extension educator Jami Dellifield discuss holiday stress. The holidays are a wonderful time, but with all of hustle and bustle that comes with this time of year, it’s important to focus on your mental health. This telecast will provide helpful information for us all to consider as we enter the holiday season, and will focus on tips and strategies for overcoming the stress and emotions that accompany this time of year.
